I came upon this old vintage washtub and knew I had to photograph a baby bubble bath. When I got the request to photograph this sweet girl, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity. We met at her grandmother’s lakeside property in Brighton, MI, on a comfortable August day. The air was perfect, warm enough for this little one to be outside uncovered, but not so warm that she would be hot or in too much sun.

We placed a Bumbo seat inside the washtub to keep her upright then blew bubble at her to make her giggle and smile. The pet duck wandered away and little E was off for the chase along the narrow, steep steps down toward the water.
